Full translation of the letter:
I observe with satisfaction the activities of the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security (ICCSS) in Warsaw in the sphere of implementing the arrangements of the first Warsaw Conference "Chemical safety and security and environmental protection; Challenges and prospects for the development of economic, trade and research cooperation", which took place in May 2014.
During the Conference I have addressed a letter to participants, in which I expressed my support for the development of polish comparative advantages in environmental protection and chemical safety and security and the proposition of the development of chemical safety and security as the Polish specialization in the world.
I note with appreciation the significant progress in the implementation of specific programs for strengthening of chemical safety and security, which gained support during the first Warsaw Conference. These include: international program on chemical safety and security in Kenya that is included in the framework of the Go Africa program, initiative for the development of the program Local Awareness and Responsibility in the Chemical Safety and Security, integrated chemical safety and security program in Ukraine and the development of cooperation with local and international stakeholders for the implementation of the new technologies and innovative solutions for clean chemistry within the Technology Platform of Producers for Chemical Safety and Security.
On this occasion I wish to inform you that the Polish government is actively engaged in the efficient use of resources in the sphere of innovation, which are being earmarked for the increase in the funding of science, R&D activities and support for the expansion of domestic enterprises and innovative entities.
A particularly praiseworthy initiative is to transform the Warsaw Conference on chemical safety and security and environmental protection in a global forum for the exchange of information on the subject. I wish to assure you of the support for the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Fair Kielce SA in preparing and organizing the Global Summit and Fair on Chemical Safety and Security (CHEMSS 2016), which will be held on 18-20 April 2016, in Kielce.
I am deeply convinced that the Global Summit, being the first global gathering for chemical safety and security, will effectively support the development of entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness of Polish entities, and will promote the creation of the global market of manufacturers for chemical safety and security and critical infrastructure protection. The program of the Summit helps to promote new directions for economic and trade expansion by presenting active cooperation with African countries, in the context of the African Forum on Chemical Safety and Security, as well as with Ukraine, within the Ukrainian forum on chemical safety and security.
At the same time, I would like to stress with full conviction that Poland has the potential for making chemical safety and security its global specialty. I believe that the activities in this area will serve the development of entrepreneurship, innovativeness and competitiveness of Polish entities and increasing the presence of "Polish chemistry" on the international market. Therefore, I wish you all the best, many successes and courage in taking actions.
