ICCSS develops cooperation with the Norwegian Institute for Atmospheric Research.

Common vision guided by similar values and determination to strengthen  environmental protection and enhance chemical and environmental safety and security, were the main motives behind signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between ICCSS and the Norwegian Institute for Atmospheric Research (NILU).

The document was signed on 2 September by Amb. Krzysztof Paturej - ICCSS president, Kari Nygaard PhD.- NILU Managing Director and Jozef Pacyna PhD. - President of the Polish branch of the Institute. In accordance therewith the parties agreed to make joint efforts to protect the environment, mainly through preparation and implementation of joint projects and exchange of best practices and experiences of their experts. This collaboration will also include joint R&D work and the provision of consulting in the field of environmental protection and chemical safety and security.

ICCSS and the Norwegian Institute for Atmospheric Research (NILU) will work towards the creation of a consortium of Polish and international entities, which will support the Polish investment through the implementation of integrated environmental impact assessments (Integrated Impact Assessment). Having such an assessment, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the effects on the environment, and proposes the optimal methods of environmental protection, is the leading condition for the realization of investments.
