On the first of December, at the headquarters of the OPCW, ICCSS held a meeting on the Kenyan Program on Chemical Safety and Security and its importance for the effective implementation of the objectives of the Chemical Weapons Convention. During the meeting, attended by a number of delegations and representatives of the OPCW Technical Secretariat, Kenyan leaders together with ICCSS revealed the progress on the implementation of the Program and presented the initiative of theAfrican Forum on Chemical Safety and Security. Forum will be held on 09-11 February 2015 in Nairobi and will focus on the presentation and the transfer of Kenyan Program experiences to African countries, with particular emphasis put on East Africa. Full support for the ICCSS innovative projects and approaches in the field of chemical safety and security was expressed by the Ambassador Jan Borkowski - Permanent Representative of Poland to the OPCW, who stated the support of Poland for the development of the Kenyan program.
On the second of December, in the 'World Forum' congress centre in The Hague, ICCSS held its second meeting, this time dedicated to the Global Summit on Chemical Safety and Security accompanied by International Chemical Safety and Security Fair, which will be held on 18-20 April 2016 in Kielce. The meeting was attended by representatives of fifty-one countries, who have expressed broad support for the initiative and the innovative ICCSS approaches in the field of chemical safety and security.
During the conference, in the 'World Forum' congress centre in The Hague, ICCSS organized a permanent exhibition dedicated to our work and the promotion ofGlobal Summit on Chemical Safety and Security accompanied by International Chemical Safety and Security Fair and the Kenyan Program on Chemical Safety and Security. The exhibition and the stand attracted numerous delegates.
