Training of the trainers by ICCSS international team begun in Mombasa as part of the Chemical Safety and Security Program in Kenya
After a year of intensive training courses for representatives of border services, customs and law enforcement a group of 50 experts and practitioners is participating in special train the trainers seminar. After its completion, participants will receive an ICCSS trainer of chemical safety and security certificate. Kenyan trainers will be the leaders in transferring knowledge and best practices into their communities. They will also actively participate in the development of the next stage of the program, which aims at creating a model border crossings for the clearance of hazardous materials.
ICCSS acts as an international coordinator of the Kenyan Program.
