Kalimi Mugambi Mworia

Kalimi Mugambi Mworia is a respected world expert in the field of non-proliferation of chemical weapons. She supervises and coordinates the programs of international cooperation at OPCW.
 
Education:

She got a BS at Makerere University in Uganda and a MS in Educational Psychology at Columbia University in New York.
 
Experience:

Throughout her career she has gained working experience in international organizations and diplomacy. She was executive director of Family Planning Association of Kenya and regional director of the International Planned Parenthood Federation. She was an ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the Kingdom of The Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

Since 2007 she is Director of International Cooperation and Assistance at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) which implements UN-Chemical Weapons Convention.
