Saber A. S. Malkawi is a former Jordanian CBRN officer with experience of more than 28 years. He served as commander of the only CBRN defense unit in Jordan Armed Forces for three years and half during the Syrian conflict. He was of an expert member of the National Steering CBRN Defense Committee to enhance and build Jordan capacity in cooperation with the international partners. He was a member of Nation Prohibition Authority. He was a co-founder of the Joint CBRN Training Center in Jordan.

Education: Saber has a bachelor degree in chemistry engineering from University of Jordan. He got a master degree in defense studies from King’s College London. Saber attended numerous courses technical, training (protection, reconnaissance, survey decontamination) and seminars in CBRN defense (planning and building capacity) and chemical safety and security in Jordan and abroad.
