International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security is a co-author and supporter of the chemical security trainer’s handbook. This book, written by Leslaw Gorniak and Slawomir Neffe, is the first position on the Polish market with the ambition of a comprehensive approach to chemical security. The handbook covers the area of threats caused by accidental or intentional use of hazardous materials (chemical, biological, radioactive and explosive materials –CBRN).
The handbook is intended for instructors and trainers being representatives of companies who want to reduce the risk by creating a system for general safety and security. We recommend this book to the national institutions responsible for the chemical safety and security, the State Fire Service, local governments, including the centres of crisis management. It can also be a valuable position for academics in the fields of engineering, as a supplement to the course of process safety, as well as for staff and students of risk management and internal security personnel.
